Excuse me ... Just waking up from hibernation. After reading the news these pat two weeks, I am finding comfort in the fact that two very smart, well known people have problems in paying their taxes. Just as I thought, the IRS can confuse anyone (and everyone). It was painful, however, the System does work ... "Blago" is out ... Time for Illinois and its citizens to start moving on to better things.

Why is this not bothering me? Because I have the day off, silly.

The White House continues to mislead the American Public. The current claim is that Mr. Bush is having a preventative proceedure to check for possible colon cancer. The actual reason is ... the Republican Party wants to ensure that Mr. Bush doesn't have "his head up his ass"

The sixth and last day of this work cycle done and one for the books! Now to rest up and enjoy my day off.

ONE DOWN ... FIVE TO GO ...

That's right! My first day of another six day cycle. Actually, today went well. Presently, I am neither overly stressed or physically tired (as I have been in the past). It could be that this six day stint isn't too bad ...Yeah ...RIGHT.

WELL ...

Last night's grilling experience went well. I rethought the money I had invested and decided not to chain the "bad boy" down. The grill worked well and as I had hoped ... not much smoke and an appropriate size for one person. However, the charcoal "sucked" and I will get the better quality before I grill again (probably on Sunday). Overall, a good experience and a "winner" of an investment.
